Lanna Thai Villa is a new home based on Northern Thai (Lanna) design elements. Built to exacting Western standards with imported electrical equipment and locally produced and crafted furnishings and finishes the home optimizes its tropical setting with folding door walls which permit a fusion of indoor and outdoor lifestyles. Its spacious well appointed rooms enclose an inner court whose center piece is a 20 m. (66 foot) salt water chlorinated swimming pool. A sala and lounge area with teak chairs and table, teak lounges and sun shading umbrellas complete the courtyard amenities. The sala with overhead fan is a perfect place for a nap, a Thai massage or alfresco dining.

The Villa is surrounded by landscaping featuring tropical flowering trees and shrubs and a kitchen garden the source of many of the fresh vegetables used in preparing meals at Lanna Thai Villa.

The 45 sq. m. ( 450sq. ft.) living room is a perfect place to relax, converse with friends or enjoy one of the books from our extensive library. Our library contains over 2000 volumes with a large selection devoted to the history and culture of SE Asian countries and peoples. Adjoining the library is a small private meditation room – a quiet and peaceful retreat for those who wish to practice their favorite form of relaxation.

Our well appointed and intimate home theater is based on a component stereo system and large tv. You can choose from an eclectic array of over 450 international movies and documentaries and 700 music CD’s for your viewing and listening pleasure.

All bedrooms at Lanna Thai Villa feature hardwood floors, teak built-in dressing tables and closets with drawers and hanging space. Smoke detectors have been installed in all bedrooms for guest safety. Oriental rugs and regional artwork are a feature of each room. Further accent is provided by bedspreads hand loomed by members of the Thai Lue ethnic group. All bedrooms are air conditioned with king sized beds with adjacent teak night stands.
